CrossFit Swansea Games

Just a quick announcement!

We will be holding an inaugural CFS Games on the 27/09/09 (Sunday)
Format
Registration will take place at 0800 with explanation of rules and standards, first WOD beginning at 0830.
Entry fee £10
There will be three workouts over the course of the day with (approx) 1 hour recovery between the WODs (WODs will be announced on the day of competition)
We will have both male and female categories (with the option of Rx'ing or scaling, athletes scaling will not be eligible for the prizes)
We will then hold the prize giving at the end. CFS will also be providing a BBQ and drinks for all competitors and families / friends
Please feel free to bring your wifes/husbands/friends/kids to support and we can make a day of it
Entry forms available from CFS reception August 1st. All entries in to CFS staff by August 31st.....

Sign me up!!! I will book the next day off work and come down for the weekend. I will need to do some crossfit in the meantime though. Apparently there's a club in London Bridge so going to try it out tomorrow

Guys don't be afraid to enter this, its not about thrashing people with nasty workouts everyone who trains with us is capable of entering and doing very well. We are more interested in the social aspect getting everyone together and having a great time! you don't have to do all three events you can compete in which ever event you fancy or you can do all of them... So don't delay sign up today!!!!

Hey guys me and Mike from Cardiff are well excited for this CFS Games! Getting in some good last minute wods before sunday! one quick question, whats a chipper workout?!

A chipper is basically a big nasty workout! (to put it in simple terms)
Seriously they contain (usually) all of the modalities CrossFit is famous for!
