Mumbles Raft Race
This is the 26th raft race and is being held in support of the 'Money for Mumbles' fund raising campaign, whereby the Mumbles Lifeboat crew are endeavouring to raise £150,000 over three years towards the cost of the replacement (Tamar Class) lifeboat due in 2012.
Free for spectators, join us along the Promenade between Blackpill and Mumbles.
15 August 2010 - 11am start
The 7.30 group are keen to get involved and will be manning the craft!!! Although there is some space on board if anyone fancies taking part!!! or has any raft building talents!!! We are looking for Donations and volunteers to stop us from drowning. We need to raise £250 to enter which is all donated to the Mumbles Lifeboat Crew! There will be a bucket this week by the door for donations to help us raise the entry fee, please drop in a few quid if you have it spare and come along for a laugh on August 15th... Plus its a good excuse to have a few beers (hopefully in the sun!!!)
